The Affordable Care Act contains legislation that requires
employers with over 50 employees to provide health insurance to employees that
work more than 30 hours a week. The due date for this provision was originally
in 2014, but has now been pushed back to 2015. The Department of the Treasury
announced the delay in a blog post on July 2nd, 2013, which is
linked below.
The IRS made the postponement of the legislation official on
Tuesday, July 9th.
