IRS Cracking Down on Identity Theft


Identity thieves, beware. The IRS has opened more criminal investigations on tax-fraud cases this year than in 2012, and it’s only August. By assigning tax-fraud cases to more employees, the IRS has been proactive in cutting down on identity theft.
